Free Dhol-Tasha Training
Dhol Tasha is a great way to fosters community spirit and brings people together through cultural programs. The rhythmic beats of Dhol Tasha ‘Pathaks’ (groups or processions) resonate through the ages, capturing the essence of traditional festivities in Maharashtra and other parts of India. But beyond music, Dhol Tasha embodies community, resilience, and unity. Dhol Tasha finds its origins in the folk music and dance forms of Maharashtra. Introduced by Lokmanya Tilak, it served as a means of communication during festivals, bringing communities together. Dhol Tasha plays a pivotal role in Maharashtra’s cultural and religious celebrations. Whether during Ganesh Chaturthi processions or Navratri festivities, its beats add vibrancy to the atmosphere. But it’s more than just music; it’s a cultural expression that unites people, transcending boundaries and fostering community bonds. This free dhol-tasha training is our humble attempt to invite people of various backgrounds to participate, learn, and celebrate together. Remember, Dhol Tasha isn’t just about drumming—it’s about weaving the threads of culture, tradition, and togetherness.
